Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a natural substance found in our skin. It is responsible for attracting and maintaining water in the skin.  As we age, we lose volume in our face, which can make the face appear sunken and hollow. Derma fillers help plump facial tissue and smooths out facial lines and wrinkles which makes the skin look younger.

Different dermal fillers contain different HA particle sizes and varying percentage of crosslink between the HA particles. This results in different levels of firmness and consistency; and for this reason, different fillers are used for different areas for best results.

During the treatment, small injections of dermal fillers are placed strategically to fill in wrinkles, contour facial shapes and add volume to soft tissue.

Dermal Fillers Treatment Brisbane

Dermal fillers are a popular treatment for improving the appearance of facial features, including smile lines, laugh lines, crow’s feet, and deep forehead wrinkles. These injections are often used to help soften the appearance of age-related changes that can lead to sagging or drooping in areas such as the corners of the mouth or eyes, crow’s feet around your eyes, or frown lines on your forehead. They are also used to create more balanced proportions in areas with excess skin such as under the chin. Dermal fillers come in many shapes and sizes. The most common types are made from hyaluronic acid, collagen, fat (autologous), and calcium hydroxylapatite. These substances are injected into the skin using a tiny needle to improve its volume and provide a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers work by injecting high-molecular-weight substances into specific facial features to smooth wrinkles and folds

Dermal fillers treatment are often used to support the skin, restore volume and shape lost to aging, or correct deformities.
